In our Year 1 DT Project, I have been so impressed with the children’s enthusiasm and creativity as they designed and built a moon buggy for Bob, the Man on the Moon. We began by exploring the Moon and thinking about what a vehicle would need to travel across its surface. The children then worked hard to plan, make, and test their own buggies, carefully considering wheels, materials, and how to keep their designs stable. It has been wonderful to see them collaborate, solve problems, and share ideas with one another.
