Star Gazing Evening

Last week, Fox and Squirrels class returned to school in the evening for a special stargazing event led by Jo Richardson from “Space Detectives.”

We were very fortunate that the weather was perfect, allowing all the children to view Jupiter through the large telescope set up in the playground. One group was especially lucky as they even caught a glimpse of the International Space Station — wow!  It was wonderful to see how engaged and enthusiastic the children were as they took part in a range of space-themed activities. The evening ended with cups of hot chocolate and marshmallows — the perfect way to finish our stargazing event.
