Year 3 and 4 Science: Exploring Magnet Strength

This week in Science, the Year 3 and 4 children have been investigating the strength of magnets. Through a range of exciting practical activities, the pupils explored how magnets attract different materials and tested which magnets were the strongest.

The children made predictions, carried out fair tests and carefully recorded their results. They compared how many objects each magnet could pick up and discussed the factors that might affect a magnet's strength.

It was wonderful to see the pupils working collaboratively, asking thoughtful scientific questions and developing their investigation skills. The class thoroughly enjoyed their hands-on learning and gained a deeper understanding of the fascinating properties of magnets.
