Year 1 and Year 2 Butterfly Release

On Tuesday, our Year 1 and Year 2 children celebrated a very special moment as they released their Painted Lady butterflies into the wild.
Over the past few weeks, the children have carefully observed the incredible transformation from tiny caterpillars to beautiful butterflies. Through this hands-on experience, they learnt all about the butterfly life cycle and the different stages of metamorphosis.
The butterfly release was an exciting and memorable event, giving the children the opportunity to see first-hand the final stage of the life cycle they had been studying. It was wonderful to watch the butterflies spread their wings and fly away into their natural habitat.
We are very proud of the children's enthusiasm, curiosity and care throughout this fascinating learning journey.
