We have started our new art project all about Eric Carle and his style of collage in his story books. We enjoyed reading Mr Seahorse and Slowly slowly slowly said the sloth, looking at how his illustrations are created. We learnt about how he creates a 'bank' of different painted papers and then uses these to cut and collage. We used a range of tools to make patterns and shapes onto paper, ready to use next week!
