On Thursday, Year 1 enjoyed putting on a fantastic puppet show all about William the Conqueror and his journey from France to becoming King of England following the Battle of Hastings in 1066.

The children learnt how this important historical event marked the beginning of Norman rule in England, as well as the start of castle building across the country. Reception were delighted to be part of the audience and thoroughly enjoyed watching the show!
