Food Chain Work for Y1&2

This week, Year 1 and Year 2 children acted out food chains during their science lesson.
We learned that every food chain begins with a producer (usually a plant), which is eaten by prey, and the prey is then eaten by a predator.
We also discovered that if any plant or animal is removed from a food chain, it can have a significant effect on all the other living things within it.
The children chose their own food chains to act out, while the rest of the class guessed which plants and animals they were representing.
