Dear Parents and Carers,
Dear Parents and Carers,
I hope you all had a restful and enjoyable Easter break. We are delighted to welcome everyone back for the start of the Summer Term—an exciting and busy time of year for our school community.
This term, our classrooms will be full of engaging learning opportunities. Topics across the school include ‘Secrets of the Shore’ for Squirrel and Fox classes and ‘Raiders and Settlers’ for Hedgehog and Owl classes. We are also looking forward to spending more time outdoors, making the most of the warmer weather to support both learning and wellbeing.
A few important dates for your diary:
· Monday 4th May – Bank Holiday (school closed)
· Thursday 7th May – Trip to Bristol Science Museum
· Week beginning 11th May – Year 6 SATs
· Week beginning 18th May – Year 6 residential trip to Bude
· Half Term – Monday 25th May to Friday 29th May
We are pleased to continue offering a range of extracurricular activities during lunchtimes this term, including cricket, skipping, story, ukulele, choir and multi-skills sports clubs.
As always, attendance remains a key priority. Please ensure your child arrives on time each day, ready to learn. If you have any concerns or need support, do not hesitate to contact the school office.
Finally, we would like to thank you for your ongoing support. Working together makes a real difference to your child’s experience and success at school.
We look forward to a fantastic term ahead!
Best wishes,
Corrinne Smith
