Equipped with determination and teamwork, the children worked together to put out the fire. There was lots of excitement as smoke filled the air, adding to the realism of the experience. After plenty of effort and cooperation, the firefighters successfully put the fire out!

It was a fantastic hands-on activity that helped bring our learning to life, building confidence, teamwork, and an understanding of the important role firefighters play in keeping us safe.

We would like to wish her all the very best in her new role and thank her for everything she has done. She will be greatly missed.

We had lots of fun designing and making our own boats, testing them to see if they would float. During our floating and sinking activity, we investigated which objects stayed on the surface and which ones sank. We also made telescopes, which we used to explore the field and spark our imaginations.

In addition, we played a fun fishing game where we practised our counting skills by keeping track of how many fish we each caught. To finish the week, we enjoyed searching for hidden objects in bubbly water, which was a great sensory activity.

It has been a busy and exciting week full of learning and discovery!

There was great excitement as they identified a variety of pond life, including tiny insects and wriggling water creatures. The children showed fantastic curiosity, asking thoughtful questions and sharing their discoveries with one another.

It was a fantastic opportunity to learn more about habitats and living things, as well as to enjoy the outdoors in the beautiful weather. The afternoon was filled with enthusiasm, teamwork, and plenty of memorable moments.

We did find though that, because it was raining and everything was wet, nothing was sticking, so we decided to go inside and use the crafty bits instead.
